One face, one event, one wedding at a time.
I started doing makeup for the people around me long before it was a business — proms, formals, and weddings for friends and family who trusted me with their big days. That hands-on experience is where Blush and Veil comes from.
I love makeup, and I love making people feel beautiful.
Tell me about sensitive skin, a recent facial, an acne treatment, lash extensions, or the eyeliner you have never once liked on yourself. None of it is a problem. All of it changes how I work.
The more of your party books, the less you pay.
Your bridal price drops as full-price services are added to the same wedding booking.
- Bride only $165
- Bride plus one full-price service $160
- Bride plus two $155
- Bride plus three $150
- Bride plus four or more $145
Because Kaitlyn works alone, how many people she can take is set by your wedding-day timeline, not by these tiers. Send your ready-by time and she will confirm in writing what fits. If a larger party would need a second artist, she can try to find one, but that is never a promise and counts only once it is confirmed in writing.
The credit counts contracted and paid full-price services. Junior makeup does not count toward it. If you add a service later and reach a new tier, your bridal price is adjusted on the updated invoice. If a booked service is passed to someone else, the credit stays the same — the slot is still reserved.
How booking works.
A date is not held until the signed agreement and the retainer are both in.
-
Send your date
Include your ready-by time and how many people need makeup. Kaitlyn confirms what fits the day and quotes it.
-
Sign and pay the retainer
Bridal: 30% of the contracted total, $50 minimum. Special events: $25. It is nonrefundable and comes off your balance — it is not an extra fee.
-
Book your preview
Bring inspiration photos and opinions. This is where the wedding-day look gets decided, well before the morning of.
-
Balance due seven days out
The remaining balance is due a week before the date. Special event bookings made inside seven days are paid in full at booking.
Where we get ready.
I come to you. Services take place at private residences, hotels, event venues, or another location we agree on, so you can get ready wherever and whenever your event begins.
The ideal space
When one is available, a private hotel suite, bridal suite, or a dedicated getting-ready room is the best setting by far. In a home, I ask that we work in a common or open area whenever possible.
While makeup is underway, please keep the area calm, respectful, and free of unnecessary distractions. It keeps the morning on schedule and makes it a better experience for whoever is in the chair.
If you do not have a suitable space, tell me when you book and we will sort out an alternative together.
What I need on arrival
- Good lightA clean, well-lit space, with natural light if there is any to be had.
- A high chairBar height is ideal. It saves my back and gets me at eye level with you.
- A table or counterSomewhere to lay out and work from my kit.
- A guardian for minorsClients under 18 must have a legal guardian present for the service.
